Intoximeters Intox DMT Dual Sensor New Operator Course

The Intox DMT New Operator Course will provide the information necessary for LEOs to perform evidential breath alcohol tests using the Intoximeters Intox DMT Dual Sensor.  The course is comprised of two portions: 1)  a lecture discussing the theory of operation of the Intox DMT Dual Sensor and the features which are unique to the Alabama program, which concludes with a written proficiency examination and 2) a practical laboratory exercise and examination which requires "hands-on" operation of the Intox DMT Dual Sensor by the trainees.

This course has been approved for 8.0 hours of continuing education credit by the Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission.
